Plasto-elastic stressed state circular conical shell structure of a tapered and constant thickness with a hole
Abstract: The article is devoted to the use of the before developed methods on determining plasto-elastic stressed-deformed state of arbitrary shells on the base of the theory of small plasto-elastic deformations. Linearization of problem solution is performed by the method of elastic solutions with the use of Lagrange’s variational equations. When writing it down, the relationship between stresses and deformations is given in the form of Hook’s law but with complementary members for plastic deformation. Kinematic boundary conditions are accurately met, while static ones on shell free edges are satisfied approximately. There is considered a design of two open conic shells of a tapered thickness in a peripheral direction and one shell of a constant thickness of an even area of section, the equations of their middle surface being written down in the parametric form. The problem is solved by the method of elastic solutions in combination with the variational-differential method in the displacement of points of the shell middle surface. The problem is solved till the numerical results. There are given the fields of shearing stress intensity by the internal, external light and middle surface for these three types of shells at a plasto-elastic solution.
