Abstract. The article considers thin-sheet membrane coatings in the form of a flat and concave positive Gaussian curvature of the shell, supported by a stiffening element on a rectangular plan. An analytical description of the geometric models of a thin-sheet membrane coating, a concave positive Gaussian curvature on a rectangular plan, and a stiffening rib in the form of an I-beam is given. Using the Maple software package, computer models of thin-sheet membrane surfaces and a reinforcing element were generated, taking into account the required density of finite elements and shape. The resulting models were imported into the system of finite element analysis of the stress-strain state of structures SCAD Office for further numerical experiment. The results obtained make it possible to estimate, on the basis of refined approaches, the dimensions of a section of a thin-sheet membrane plate involved in joint work on transverse bending with a reinforcing element, depending on the ratio of their stiffness and changes in surface curvature.

Refinement of Aerodynamic Coefficients for the Roof and Wall of Tanks with a Sagging Roof with a Group Arrangement of Tanks

FSBEI HE «Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture»
Abstract. The publication discusses aspects of the normalization of wind pressure and the impact of wind load on the example of structures having a circular cylindrical surface, namely vertical cylindrical tanks of large volumes, consisting of a group. A refined method of rationing wind energy for structural elements of the VCR for structural solutions with a sagging roof, both in a single arrangement and in a group, is described. Graphs of the distribution of aerodynamic coefficients for vertical cylindrical tanks in height and for the roof are presented. As a result, using a verified methodological approach for the normalization of wind loads on the roof and wall of tanks with a sagging roof, as well as on the wall and roof of tanks consisting of a group, calculation formulas in the form of single and double trigonometric series are proposed.
Keywords: reservoir, sagging roof, cylindrical shell, wind load, aerodynamic coefficients.

Сomplex Tests Carried out on the Basis of the Testing Ground for Power Transmission Poles and Tower Structures FSBEI HE «DONNACEA» (part 1)

b SD LLC «Investregionprom»
Abstract. Mechanical tests of experimental transmission line supports made according to individual projects are one of the mandatory conditions of Russian and international standards for their further use in the construction of energy facilities. Therefore, designers and manufacturers must have a testing base on which research and acceptance static and dynamic tests of transmission line supports and tower structures are carried out. The article describes an integrated approach to the testing of power grid structures carried out at the Testing Site of transmission line supports and tower structures of the DONNACEA. Complex tests of electric grid structures are provided by the presence of the test base of the Landfill, which consists of a universal test hall, a press room, a climate chamber and a wind tunnel. The testing base allows preliminary testing of hardware, individual elements, assemblies and fragments of supports; mechanical testing of wires; studies of icy loads; aerodynamic testing of structures and wires, etc. If necessary, three testing laboratories of DONNACEA accredited in the field of testing of building materials and engineering protection of buildings and structures in difficult geological conditions are involved in conducting special tests.

Temperature Fields Arising During the Operation of a Pyramid-Shaped Metal Cooling Tower in Winter

FSBEI HE «Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture»
Abstract. The article presents a study of temperature fields that arise during the operation of a pyramid-shaped metal cooling tower in winter. Control measurements of temperature fields were carried out using a thermal imager, thermograms of the distribution of temperature fields both along the height and along the circumference of the exhaust tower, occurring under various weather conditions, were determined. The temperature of the cooling tower basin and the air temperature at the neck of the metal cooling tower were also measured. An analysis of the obtained results of a field study of temperature fields under various weather conditions was carried out. This work was carried out with the aim of determining actual temperature fields for subsequent verification of experimental data obtained in laboratory conditions using the thermographic research method by recreating technological and weather operating conditions on a specially designed stand that evaluates the quantitative indicator of technological ice and its distribution over the surface of the exhaust tower.
Keywords: metal cooling tower, temperature fields, verification, exhaust tower, pool, thermogram.
