The Model Tests of Vertical Cylindrical Tanks and a Verification of Numerical Researches
Abstract: This article discusses the results of model tests for vertical cylindrical tanks of 20 thousand m3. Since the loads were sufficiently studied for structures with an aspect ratio of height to width ratio of less than 0.5 comprised in the group, so a series of tests was carried out in a wind tunnel models with different forms, consisting in the group roof. The article discusses the results of the verification of numerical studies to test a model with a flat roof. The results on the project took place in the group will be presented in the next article.
