Phase trajectory mappings in the analysis of chaotic system dynamic properties

Abstract: The problems of the complex approach to the qualitative and parametric identification of considerably non-linear mechanical systems are given in this paper. The method described by the authors presents practical possibility of mechanical system identification with the usage of phase trajectory mappings on the plane “acceleration-displacement”. The suggested method is close to the method of time process treatment according to the peaks, but in contrast to the existing qualitative identification method is not so complicated in application.
