Features of the Joint Operation of the Reinforcing Element with a Flat Cylindrical Momentary Shell under the Action of a Transverse Load
Abstract: The article considers thin-sheet membrane coatings in the form of a flat and cylindrical shell of zero Gaussian curvature, supported by a stiffness element on a rectangular plan. An analytical description of geometric models of a thin-sheet membrane coating on a rectangular plan and stiffeners in the form of an I-beam curved in one direction is given, on the basis of which computer models of thin-sheet membrane surfaces and reinforcing elements are obtained, taking into account the necessary density of rectangular finite elements for importing into the system of finite element analysis of the stress-strain state of SCAD Office structures with further numerical experiment. The obtained results allow us to estimate, on the basis of refined approaches, the dimensions of the section of a thin-sheet membrane plate involved in joint work for transverse bending with a reinforcing element, depending on the ratio of their stiffness changes in the curvature of the surface.
