Some questions of calculation of steel structure reliability

Abstract: In this article the brief review of authors researches in the field of steel structures reliability is given. Analytical probabilistic models are developed for maxima of stochastic loads and combined load effects on building structures are taken into account; recommendations for standardization of combined factors are given. Several practical methods of reliability analysis of steel structure elements are proposed. In accordance with the proposed methods the optimum level of elements reliability of steel structures is given on a class of the buildings responsibility. It is allowed to calculate the values of importance factor. All formulated and developed probabilistic methods are characterized by analytical simplicity.
